Meet Sadie 

Sadie is a sweet girl with a big heart who is still figuring out the world. In her previous home she lived with dogs, cats, and kids, and she especially loved spending time with the 8-year-old in the family. One of her favorite things is simply being close to her people — when she’s feeling a little nervous, she loves having her paw held for reassurance.

When she was younger, Sadie loved trips to the lake and splashing around in the water. She’s the kind of dog who enjoys adventures but also really values the comfort of being near someone she trusts.

Right now, Sadie is working through some anxiety and navigating those awkward teenage phases of life. Because of that, she’s looking for a patient and understanding person who can help guide her, build her confidence, and show her the ropes as she grows into adulthood.

With kindness, structure, and a little extra reassurance along the way, Sadie has all the potential to blossom into an incredibly loyal companion. And if you don’t mind holding a paw now and then, you might just be the perfect person for her.
