Volunteer
Become a part of our lifesaving team and make a difference today. Our year-round Committed Caregiver volunteer program empowers community members to make a difference in the lives of animals at our shelter. Whether you’re cleaning kennels, socializing with shy cats, helping with events, or supporting adoptions, every task makes an impact on the furry friends in our community. With any questions, please reach out to Katie at kaxline@lchsmontana.org or call the shelter at 406-442-1660!
Events
Spay-ghetti Dinner

Our annual Spay-ghetti dinner is our longest running fundraising event, and we look forward to it every year! The first ever Spay-ghetti Dinner was held 20 years ago in the basement of the VFW and raised $2,500. Since then, it has grown to our largest fundraiser with over 800 people in attendance every year!
Paws for a Cause
Our annual Paws for a Cause event is a powerful one-hour luncheon designed to share the heart of the Lewis & Clark Humane Society. You’ll hear real-life stories of the animals in our care, meet the people who make their healing possible, and learn how your support creates second chances for pets in need.
Community Outreach
The Lewis and Clark Humane Society is a community oriented organization that both relies on and provides for the Lewis and Clark County, Broadwater County, and Jefferson County.
If you are interested in having a representative of the shelter visit your school, business, or event please email our Development Coordinator, Amber at akornak@lchsmontana.org
