Moxy

Moxy’s story is one you’ll never forget. She somehow hitched a ride in the back of a truck and took an unexpected journey before falling out along the road. By incredible luck, one of our interns happened to be driving by, stopped immediately, and rescued the frightened little kitten. Moxy was terrified and scared enough to bite in her panic, but thanks to that quick rescue, she got the second chance she deserved.

Coming from a colony, Moxy is still a very shy girl who will need a patient adopter willing to let her adjust at her own pace. Since arriving at the shelter, she’s made wonderful progress—going from hissing and hiding to greeting familiar people with curious little chirps and accepting gentle pets. She absolutely loves wand toys and Churu treats, which are the fastest way to her heart!

Moxy is looking for someone who sees the joy in helping a shy cat blossom. She’ll need slow introductions, a quiet environment, and plenty of time to build trust, but we truly believe she’s worth every bit of patience. Once she’s fully comfortable, she could even enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Just be sure to keep an eye on those warm car engines—she’s already proven she has a knack for unexpected adventures!
