Meet Copper! 

Copper is a sweet senior heeler who is looking for a soft place to land after some major life changes. His owner recently passed away, and understandably, Copper is feeling a little overwhelmed by the shelter environment. While he’s doing his best, what he really needs is a loving home where he can relax and feel safe again.

In his previous home, Copper did well with dogs, cats, and kids. In fact, he was known to cuddle up and sleep with the cats! Because so much has changed for him recently, he may appreciate slow introductions as he settles into a new home and gets his bearings.

Copper may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of love to give. He’s looking for a family that will be patient, kind, and understanding as he adjusts to this new chapter in his life.
